Aro Women North America, Inc., is the global Diaspora organization, primarily networking and uniting women, daughters and wives, who share the great lineage and heritage of Arochukwu. Our motto: Honesty, Love, Dignity and Unity in Sisterhood Although, we started organizing several years ago, we became duly formalized through the unanimous adoption of our constitution in the year 2020. Aro Women North America, Inc., has its headquarters in the great city of Houston, Texas. For all sans daughters of the Aro heritage and our friends who wish to support our social outreach and economic empowerment activities and projects, please note that we are established according to the laws of the United States as a non-profit corporation.

Our Objectives

Objectives

Aro Women North America shall seek to:

1. Promote peace, unity, good citizenship, cultural and social welfare of Aro women in the diaspora and among our people and Aro communities within and outside Arochukwu,
2. Obligate ourselves to high standards of decorum and decency.
3. solicit support through fundraising activities directed towards assisting less privileged individuals and organizations in the execution of charitable works within the guidelines of the organization.
4.To promote our culture, and integrate our cultural values, and interests and uphold, safeguard, and enhance our community image generally and nationwide
5. To encourage and promote the development of family values and encourage women to diversify their interest in various areas of Entrepreneurship, Education, Technology, Medicine, and Agriculture.
6. To promote the financial independence, wellness, and security of the girl child in our communities.
7. To provide a forum for Aro women to address issues affecting the welfare of women, children and families within our community in the United States of America and in the diaspora.
8. To encourage and foster the attitude of mentorship among the members and the community.

Membership

Membership of this organization shall be on individual basis and it is open to Aro women by birth or by marriage
